Pure Pottery — Brand Identity

Pure Pottery is a handcrafted ceramics brand centred around creativity, craftsmanship and the beauty of pieces made by hand. The goal of this project was to create an identity that felt warm, organic and playful, while still being considered and recognisable.

The brand was built around a custom pottery-inspired logo, using imperfect, hand-drawn forms to reflect the character and individuality of handmade ceramics. A flexible suite of logo variations and graphic elements was developed, allowing the identity to adapt across different applications while remaining cohesive.

An earthy palette of terracotta, warm brown and cream connects the brand back to clay and the making process, while contrasting shades of blue introduce a fresh, contemporary element. Combined with expressive typography, pottery-inspired illustrations and playful iconography, the final identity gives Pure Pottery a distinct visual personality that feels creative, approachable and handmade.

The result is a flexible brand system designed to feel just as unique and considered as the pieces Pure Pottery creates.
